ICMR NIV Recruitment 2023: Apply Online for Technical Assistant and Technician Posts

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) National Institute of Virology (NIV) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to liberal regular posts. There are two main posts available: Technical Assistant and Technician.

Who is eligible to apply?

To be eligible for the Technical Assistant posts, candidates must have a first class three-year bachelor's degree in microbiology, mic medical microbiology, virology, immunology, zoology, biochemistry, biotechnology, maya physics, or genetics from a recognized university.

To be eligible for the Technician posts, candidates must have a first class three-year bachelor's degree in any science subject with 60% marks.

The last date for submission of online applications is December 10, 2023.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in an online Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT will be held on December 16 and 17, 2023.

Salary

The salary for the Technical Assistant posts is Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- per month.

The salary for the Technician posts is Rs. 19,900-63,200/- per month.

Location of posting

The selected candidates will be posted at any of the ICMR NIV units in India.

Important notes

• Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.

• The application fee is Rs. 300/- for General and OBC candidates. There is no application fee for SC, ST, PWD and women candidates.

• Candidates who are already employed with ICMR are not required to pay the application fee.

• Candidates are advised to carefully read the notification before applying.
