Over 6500 Jobs to be Recruited in Delhi MCD

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approved the recruitment of over 6500 jobs in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Out of these, 2949 posts are for security guards and 3640 posts are for sanitation workers.

The notification for recruitment is likely to be issued in January 2024. To apply, candidates should be between 18 and 45 years of age. Intermediate pass is required for security guard posts and high school pass is required for sanitation workers.

The recruitment process will include a written examination and a physical fitness test. The written examination will have questions related to general knowledge, mathematics and English. The physical fitness test will have tests related to running, long jump and high jump.

The recruitment will provide employment opportunities to the youth of Delhi. It will also improve the services of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
